Dining Out Loch Lomond

Mr C's Dining Experiences

A totally new concept in dining, Mr. C’s Fish and Whisky Bar celebrates two things that Scotland is famous for, fresh fish and fantastic whisky.

Glasgow Airport is only 20 minutes by car from Loch Lomond, and just over 30 minutes from the Inn. Several hire car companies are located at the Airport. With the advent of budget airlines there are now a variety of airlines offering flights from UK cities and European destinations to Glasgow Airport, as well as main carriers such as British Airways and British Midland.

From Glasgow Airport
Take the Greenock exit onto the M8, follow the signs for the Erskine Bridge, take the Dumbarton/Crianlarich exit onto the A82 and follow the signs for the North. The road will take you through Dumbarton and onto the Alexandria bypass. At the next roundabout, continue north on the A82 for 8-10 miles. You will pass the signpost for the village of Luss, carry on for further 5/6 miles and the Inn at Inverbeg is on the left.

From Glasgow
From the city centre, join the M8 westbound. Leave at junction 30 on to the A898, following the signs for the Erskine Bridge and Crianlarich, then proceed as above

From Edinburgh and Edinburgh Airport
On leaving Edinburgh, take the M9 towards Stirling, take exit 10 following the tourist route signs to Loch Lomond, this takes you onto the A811, remain on this road, following the signs to Balloch. At Balloch follow the sings for A82 and at junction head north for Crianlarich.. Continue north on the A82 for 8-10 miles. You will pass the signpost for the village of Luss, carry on for further 5/6 miles and the Inn at Inverbeg is on the left.

From the South
Follow the M6/A74 north until it meets the M8 then follow the directions above.
